Several residents protested against illegal waste dumping along the GCE road and raised concerns in regards to all this being a public health hazard and not only garbage being dumped but construction waste is also being dumped causing a pollution and sanitation crisis on this road and air and dust pollution having long term implications for residents living on the stretch and a charter was submitted clearing the garbage and construction waste and see to it that more waste is dumped on the stretch and door to door collection of waste and petition was submitted to government , MCG , ULB , HSPCB, GDMA .
The question why havent cameras been put here to monitor the dumping and what is going on here why is the prime road reduced to garbage dump .
