It’s literally insane the traffic situation on the road, literally madness, nearly everyone is speeding, driving rashly and dangerously as though in a movie, Death Race .
Wrong-side driving is a common result in fatalities regularly and no one gives a damn
Question are tractors allowed on urban roads and that too with trolley ? Truck drivers are the bosses with and daily you will read some fatalities at their hands .
Buses are racing on the NH-48 and the shocking part this single stretch of the road 44 km had some 140 plus deaths and 133 fatal accidents and yet if you drive on the stretch you will see why .
The point is, why isn’t the traffic police installing AI Cameras and fining these vehicles massively on this single stretch to start with and especially those of the District and State and actively challaning other states’ vehicles it just mind-boggling, so many fatalities on a single stretch year on year and yet there is no drastic measure, though the simplest measure would be installing AI number plate-reading cameras but then who gives a damn about public safety .
The issue is not of just these main roads but even internal colony roads and the traffic police has defined the speed for specific roads like for 18mtrs its 20 km and less for 9 mtr and yet not even one person follows it and are speeding and driving dangerously on the narrow colony roads and its just nearly everyone .
Then there are the racers who come out especially late at night high on heavy cocktail alcohol and drugs, and with their modified silencers blaring and echoing all over and everyone knows it and where they race and yet no one touches them and then there are unfortunate fatalities and despite media coverage of Pune Porsche and multiple other such cases, these above-the-law are high and speeding just a state of utter lawlessness on the roads .
