Only today heard the roar of the bikes at Sikanderpur underpass at 10 pm and the high-end luxury that used to race hadn’t seen them in a while but they must be racing after 2 am as there is a police check post these days right under DLF – 2 metro station so maybe they avoid this road but there was no deterrence to their fast and furious rides even when the whole media coverage was going on about the Pune Porsche incident they just don’t care about the law these people and their families are above the law and they have been lucky by gods grace that no psycho car or truck driver was coming from the wrong side then it would have not mattered who you are .
These people not only endanger public life but also create nuisance and disturbance especially at night right till the morning specially modified exhausts that make noise could well over 120 decibels and there high end apartment complexes like Magnolias , Camellias , Palm Springs etc and residential colonies DLF phase – 1 and 2 along the road where especially during winters people cannot sleep disturbed by the sound but have to accept and put up with nuisance of Noise pollution created by so called rich fast and furious .
I once asked a SHO to take suo moto cognizance of the noise pollution and check on this esteemed sophisticated rich residents of the Gaon he did he put a check post near DLF Phase -2 gate No.3 while the riders were going underpass on the same road only now they have put a police check post near the underpass road right under the DLF – 2 metro station .
